Himalayan Views Off-the-Beaten Path Rhododendron Forests Cultural Trail Parbat District

The Kokhe Danda Trek is a 3 to 6 day off-the-beaten-path ridge trek in Parbat District, Nepal, reaching a maximum altitude of 3,310 metres. Situated 100 metres higher than the famous Poon Hill, Kokhe Danda offers a truly panoramic viewpoint of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges — yet sees a fraction of the crowds. Pioneered by Discover Parbat, this trail was opened to share one of western Nepal's best-kept secrets with the world.

Starting from Pokhara, the trek winds through rhododendron forests, Magar village homestays, and open ridge-top meadows before arriving at the Kokhe Danda summit for breathtaking sunrise views over three eight-thousanders: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. Suitable for first-time trekkers and seasoned walkers alike, this is one of the most rewarding short treks in Nepal.
